RECYCLING OF WET-STRENGTH TISSUE PAPER. PART 1. KINETICS OF PAPER DISINTEGRATION AT REPULP-ING PROCESS

The present investigation focuses on disintegration kinetics of wet-strength tissue paper in various termo-alkaline and chemical conditions batch low-consistency repulping process. As chlorine-free aids, we applied sodium persulfate its original state combination with peroxy activator (chemically activated form persulfate). Based a first-order kinetic model, estimated the influence intensity defiberization process by rate constant kd. values kd were found linear least-squares curve fitting experimental data t, ln (F'/100) coordinate system, where F' is non-disintegrated or non-defibrated portion paper, t – time. results have shown that (T=60 °C, pH=10.5) compared mild (T=40 pH=8.5) leads to an increase from 5.6·10-3 min-1 9.7·10-3 min-1.
